About me 

I am a passionate freelance photographer specialising in headshots, portraiture, sport and lifestyle images.

My love of photography started more than 30 years ago, capturing action images from the numerous BMX events I attended. Utterly swept away by the BMX mania of the 1980’s, I wanted to capture the excitement of the time, so instead of entering the competitions, I borrowed a good friend’s Canon SLR camera and photographed them. Fortunately for me, I worked for a film processing company at the time, so was able to take care of the whole process, from capture to print.

I learned early on that being in front of the camera is something many people are uncomfortable with and as I want everyone to enjoy the experience, I love to work with people and put them at ease with getting their photo taken. A photo shoot is very much a two-way relationship and relaxed confidence shines through, so my approach is to chat and make it a fun experience. There is no rush and the natural looking results speak for themselves. I also generally tether my camera to a laptop, so that you can see the images as we work.

Depending upon the style of image you require, we can either shoot on location or in a studio. I can also bring my studio to you, so from warehouse to woodland, I have you covered!

Although I am based in Bedfordshire, I can often be found travelling the length and breadth of the U.K. and I love collaborating with my clients, so please do look at my galleries and get in touch to see how I can bring your ideas to life.
